The Interregional Center for Vocational Retraining of Servicemen Released into the Reserve is the only multidisciplinary institution of professional (vocational and technical) education located in the Central City District of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region. The center, as a state vocational and technical educational institution of III attestation level, I level of accreditation, prepares labor reserves for the industrial potential of the region, namely: for residents of the Central City, Inguletskyi districts (within Kryvyi Rih) and Shirokivsk community, which covers a population of 170,000 .persons and creates conditions for realizing the needs of citizens in professional and technical education, mastering labor professions and qualifications in accordance with their interests, abilities and state of health.

The center has licenses for the training of skilled workers from 91 professions for machine building, the automotive industry, clothing and food production, agriculture, the service sector, and professional junior bachelors in the specialties "Automotive Transport", "Light Industry Technologies", "Food Technologies" for the needs of the region .

The total licensed capacity of the educational institution is 3,785 people. The annual contingent of education seekers is about 1,000 people. One of the main tasks of the Center is the fulfillment of state and regional orders, which is formed in accordance with the agreements concluded with the customers of labor personnel and taking into account the needs of the region and the labor market, the capabilities of the educational institution and the licensed volume of admission. Admission of education seekers by regional and state order is about 460 people annually.

The experience of training, retraining, and advanced training of the adult population at the Ministry of Education and Culture covers almost three decades. The educational institution promptly responds to social challenges regarding the provision of educational services. The center cooperates with the Kryvyi Rih city-district employment center, territorial offices of the Court Security Service (TUSSO) of Ukraine. More than a thousand people from among the unemployed adult population received working professions. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, the Center is conducting retraining on the basis of vouchers of the adult population from among IDPs, IDPs, family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine, cooperating with all urban employment centers of Ukraine, including the Donetsk region. During this period, about 300 people received working professions.

Each educational institution, like a person, has a place and time of birth.

The history of the educational institution dates back to the establishment of technical school No. 13 in Kryvyi Rih in 1979.

In 1984, TU No. 13 was transformed into SPTU No. 59. Pupils had the opportunity to acquire not only a working profession, but also a certificate of secondary education.

In 1994, on the basis of this institution, one of the three Centers for professional retraining of servicemen released into the reserve was created in Ukraine. The creation of the center was carried out in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement between Ukraine and Germany by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 70 of February 8, 1994, which provided for the implementation of a program of professional retraining and social adaptation of servicemen who retired from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their family members.

In 1997, in connection with the reorganization of the network of vocational and technical educational institutions, VET No. 47 of the household profile was added to the Center.

In 2001, the former PTU No. 8 was added to the Center. The educational institution included a center for labor rehabilitation of the disabled.

Since 2003, the structure of the Center has included a branch in the village of Shiroke, created by joining the Center of Vocational School No. 82 of Shiroke, Dnipropetrovsk region.

The pedagogic team of the Moscow State University has an active, stable civic position regarding the development of a modern, free, sovereign Ukraine, and is always ready to take on the solution of the most urgent and painful needs of the state. That is why, during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, volunteer activities of the Center's employees were initiated to meet the needs of the Territorial Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
