Mastering the profession of a tailor, students learn to work not only on ordinary sewing machines, but also on a variety of special equipment: looping, buttoning, hemming, embroidery, basting machines. The training program includes the study of work, devices and adjustment of equipment and mechanisms of sewing production.
Masters of industrial training create and conduct interesting lessons, educational workshops, using multimedia tools. This work is carried out in such directions as the use of multimedia videos, the use of electronic manuals by students, the holding of interesting olympiads in the profession, contests for the best in the profession. Having mastered the profession of a tailor, students go through the final stage of training — qualification certification for the tailoring profession of the 3rd category and defense of a diploma thesis, after which they receive a tailor's diploma of the corresponding category.
The groups offer their diploma projects for defense - self-tailored and sewn products of outerwear models. Students of education also perform creative works - dresses for the collection models.
During their studies, students have the opportunity to take part in interesting extracurricular activities. Every year, the Moscow Art Museum takes part in the regional exhibition of creative works "Our talent and creativity - to you, Ukraine". These are creative works of the sewing department - clothing models, samples of needlework: weaving from beads, removable collars sewn and decorated with embroidery, embroidered belts, necklaces from beads and others.
The Center's sewing department takes an active part in All-Ukrainian events. So we took part in the production of a cross-stitched map of Ukraine. Each educational institution of Ukraine, which has a direction of training tailors, embroidered a map of a certain region of our country.
For more than one year, our students have taken part in the All-Ukrainian competition "Light Industry Breakthrough". According to the terms of the competition, educational institutions produce a collection of clothes, adhering to a certain theme. This is how the "Street style" collection of clothing models was created. The main requirement for the collection under the terms of the competition is the use of reflective tapes in the models. At the competition "Light Industry Breakthrough 2019", our clothing collection received an honorable 2nd place.
The contest "Light Industry Breakthrough 2021" was held online, with online voting. A collection of clothes created in a fantasy style with the use of interesting decoration of tulle dresses with chic amazing flowers in the style of Petrykiv paintings took part in the competition. The finishing technique is felting, dry and wet felting. Completion of the image — strange flowers, braided in the models' wreaths.

After graduating from our educational institution, students with the specialty "Tailor" are employed at garment enterprises in the city of Kryvyi Rih, fashion studios, or private sewing workshops. Such enterprises in our city are the Polstar LLC sewing factory, the Miratex textile factory, the Charivna Pani atelier, the Elegant and many others. Employees of the garment industry receive a decent wage for the work actually performed. With perfect knowledge of her profession, a qualified seamstress will always be able to receive a decent payment for her work. The profession of a tailor can be associated with several compatible professions, for example, a tailor, a sales consultant for the sale of clothing products, fabrics and accessories, a stylist, a clothing designer.
